Le entrate e le rispettive incoronazioni a Palermo di Vittorio Amedeo II di Savoia e Carlo III di Borbone sono state analizzate sotto diversi punti di vista. Tuttavia gli aspetti musicali sono stati finora poco considerati, se non a margine di studi più generali sulla vita musicale palermitana. Il presente contributo è riservato in modo specifico alla cornice sonora dei due eventi, dimostrando come questa costituisse un elemento essenziale al funzionamento della festa e al soddisfacimento dei suoi scopi. The objective of this work is to know the organic structure of the officers and subordinates of the Royal Court of Majorca during the 18th century, which was the essence of the high judicial administration insular. Because of that, we approached through these relatively extensive professionals, with the description of their functions, who they were and how they obtained their charges. The article ends with an epilogue dedicated to the enlargement of the Royal Court with the creation of the second chamber during the reformist stage of Charles III to improve the high judicial administration insular.

The paper focus on the ephemeral apparatus realized by the architect Salvatore Attinelli on the occasion of the funeral of Charles III of Bourbon, to be set up inside the cathedral of Palermo, in those years affected by a total internal modernization based on the project commissioned in 1767 to Ferdinando Fuga. This research aims to analyze recruitment by quintas, Spanish word for recruitment levies by lot, in the city of Valencia and the townships included in its jurisdictional area. The analyzed period began in 1717 with the first levie decreted by king Philip V once the War of Spanish Succession was over. Applied this levie in the kingdom of Valencia, this was the first application of levies by lot. The closing year for the reported period up to 1762, whith the last levy made by king Charles III before the establishment of the annual periodicity for the recruitment process. L'articolo esamina le notizie musicali connesse ai festeggiamenti per l'incoronazione a Palermo nel 1735 di Carlo III di Borbone. In particolare si seguono le fasi fondamentali delle celebrazioni, partendo dagli eventi musicali promossi dal viceré duca di Montemar e da altri nobili palermitani prima dell'arrivo del sovrano, per poi spostarsi all'evento vero e proprio. L'attenzione si concentra quindi sulla serenata ai Quattro Canti per l'entrata trionfale, sugli spettacoli musicali organizzati nel 'Teatrino' della Marina e infine sulle sontuose musiche eseguite durante l'incoronazione in cattedrale.
